Usually few riders can ride on days that I can ride my 25.
If I keep doing this will it Blow the lead edge like my RII 20 did.
I was not advised by north not to do this so I didn't know I was doing anything wrong

Are you worried that thekite will fail because you are folding over the wingtip or because of abrasion as it comes off the sand. If it is the former than make yourself a couple of nylon sandbags about 10-12 inches square with a velcro closure on one edge. Fill them at the beach and instead of folding the tip over place the bags on the end of the LE. Not inside it. If there is any movement in the kite build a little mound of sand just downwind of the LE. When you launch the bags just fall off. I like to do this on my fuels as the LE is so hard that I worry about folding it over.

Kitesuffer,
Niether
The Norths blew towards the center because of undue pressure on the seams when laying flat while inflated.
My RII 20 blew Once while being launched by a helper and once while laying on its back in the water.
My old North RI 2001 or 2002 (not sure) is still standing and I self launch it all the time.
I think they made the material too stiff on the bottom of the leading edge without beefing up the area around the seems.
one tare was at the stitches the other a couple centemeters over.

Just to your information, my friends had leading edges exploding from wipika airblast 2002 and Naish X2

and yes I do believe that it can happen to any brand.

Can't say I have more confidence in X4 or X3 than in X2.

I am only hoping that kitedesigners will improve their products, but I do not have much hope, since exploding leading edges are there for years already.
