I'm curious, what other kites have this besides the Nemesis? Seems like getting away with less struts would be a good thing. The way the Nemi handles I can't see any drawbacks.
Are extra struts there to counter act jellyfishing or what?

you don't count the wingtip struts? if you count those the kite has 7. If wingtip struts don't count, the Nemi has the same number of struts as my Airush Lift Pro 11.5, which is High AR.

No not counting the battens... though I think its clever that they make them inflatable with their own blatters, so they stay stiff but are also light.
Lift Pro, cool, will have to check it out. Thanks!

yeah, I wonder why best would make the yarga with the wingtip bladder connected to the main, yet the Nemisis has inflatable tips.....two extra bladders to inflate. Wipika has this too, so do the Naish x3. Wonder why.

The end strut didn't get stiff and folded when they where one with the lead edge.
I do like them separate it gets hard and does not fold like the naish kites.
Don’t know why the yarga doesn’t have it but with the lead edge so small they get hard and don’t fold so I don’t care.

The tip battens on the Yarga are bigger than the Nemesis, so maybe they don't need extra pressure to stay stiff (they definitely stay stiffer than my old Aero2 inflated battens did.) Also probably extra cost and complexity in make the blatters separate.
Someone said Wipika had a kite with separate blatters for tips, but I haven't seen one in person.
Any other 5 strut high AR kites besides LP?

Looks like new Gaastra stealth is 5 struts (integrated splitstrut type.)
