Kitesurfing in Alanya Turkey

I´m going to Alanya Turkey in a few weeks, and I´ll like to know if there´s any kitespots near Alanya and what kitesize I should bring.

i am so sorry to inform you that Alanya during the summer season is not a windy place.But it is a very nice area.if you want to kitesurf you have to come direct to Cesme-Izmir and drive to the kitesurfbeach.

Just returned from there for 2 weeks, did not see any windsurfers - only one shop renting equipment and no-one I talked to knew about kitesurfing. (instead did some diving).

Finding a proper spot to launch can also be problematic as a lot of people is on the beach during the daylight hours, because of swimmers most of the areas are buoyed to prevent boats to come too close.

Regarding winds ... only light to very light winds during those days...
