Gaastra Force 14

Postby gillo » Wed Sep 08, 2004 11:31 am

Hi everybody, I've recently bought a Gaastra Force 14, after having read a few reviews around I think it could be a good kite for a beginner like me. However I'd like to know your opinion about its pros/cons, etc.

I have the Force 14 and have used it 4 months. I find it to be a good kite for beginners. It is very easy to relaunch in water and have a good constant pull.
I have nothing bad to say about the Gaastra Force kites.

I'm an ok rider, and i reckon that it's a nice kite. Stable in the sky and not so slow that it's going to hinder your performance a few months down the track. It doesn't have any of the problems that the GXR had, which is why some people don't like the Gaastra's. Nice choice, you'll be happy with it :thumb:

Lutchi: why not? Now that I already have it in my hands at least I'll know what to do when I'm struggling in the water :P

He's just saying that it's a good idea to research the kite before buying it, just incase your getting your hands on a dud. You did well though, the force is a great beginner kite, nice and stable to fly, and quick enough to keep you happy when you get better and start boosting. Hope you enjoy the kite :thumb:
