well said George. :thumb:

Kites worldwide should understand that apart from showing compasion for another rider, for $5 bucks you could end up with some amaizing kite gear. This is not just a Florida issue.. it is worldwide...
With the relitave low amount of tickets that has been sold means that the odds are great that you will win something!!!...

$5 bucks...what have you got to loose...most of you spend more on a beer!

go to Rick's link and help a brother out...

Thanks to those that have helped out so far..

DC.

Please do Click on the Link and send some dough to Help.

I have never met Claudio myself but I understand he is a great guy and he needs help.

I cant even imagine being in his position right now.

I was trying to think of something to donate from my shop, but instead I decided to buy $100 worth of Raffle Tickets and if I win I will work with Rick and the Forum to Raffle off the prize in an attempt to raise some more to help.

It was so easy to give, click and you will see just how simple it is!

I just heard from Luco that Claudio was taken in for the spinal operation today. That should mean that the pneumonia is better. Our prayers are with you Claudio!

Thank you for the positive responses and actions. It looks like the kiteboarding community is rising to help support Claudio and this is inspiring to see. I received many emails from some terrific people around the globe. You are buying raffle tickets and more companies are donating more prizes. This is going to be huge.

Once again, no one is asking for large donations. One raffle ticket might mean one less beer or burger this weekend. Multiply that by all who read this equals a tremendous amount of assistence to Claudio and his family. And with all the prizes donated the odds are with you that you could you win something awesome.

And please do not be afraid of using PayPal. It is what EBAY uses for their transactions and I use PayPal on my website for years without a single problem. It is as simple and secure as any credit card transaction.

In the future the news will be used for companies to shout out their commercial news. To keep the forum clean from unwanted advertising, this is an inexpensive way to advertise. More details will follow with the new layout comming soon.

as a special for all donating companies which are kite/travel related:

every company who donated will get a news item for free on http://www.kiteforum.com news !

Thx for everyone's support!

Toby
