For those of you from out of town. Those photo's were taken on the south end of California's Golden Gate Bridge.

They are good photo's of a yacht getting smacked from behind by about a ten foot wave. I won't spoil the ending for you.

Looks like a couple of surfers (the real kind) took them to safety.

We love our South Tower don't we?
BTW, the swell has been good and super glassy on the inside.
A kiter's paradise, except from the dead zone behind the tower and near the rocks!

I think the government started a rumor that there are lots of sharks in the bay and that rumor was to prevent prisoners at Alcatraz from trying to escape. Now swimmers swim in the bay all the time and I have never heard of a shark attack in the bay. I have seen fishermen catch small sharks in the bay but they are less than two feet long. The Golden Gate Bridge is closer to the Ocean but guys surf all around there and the closest shark attacks I have heard of are a few miles north at Stinson Beach.

For every man killed by a shark, men kill 4,000,000 sharks. We owe it to the sharks to feed them a human every once in a while. Please support your local sharks.

Is it just me, or is it common sense not to sail in through those waves! Those guys are lucky they didn´t drown and that the surfers were there! You can see some kiters in the background in some pictures.
