Tunnel concave boards like the Heine, Ocean Rodeo Mako have much less spray.

What you need is my super nifty looking "Calf-Gasket". I find the water that sprays in my face doesn't come directly from the edge of the board, but rather sprays from the edge of my board onto my shin, and then straight into my eyes.
Deflecting spray is only one fabulous feature of the Calf-Gasket. Also, if you're seen sporting a pair of these at your local site, the ladies will all want you, and the guys will all want to be you!

LOL!!!!
Man, if you haven't already done so - run out to the patent office! And bring the spork with you - you might want to patent that as well.
Just the name is good enough to crack me up....
So would you say the calf gasket is more effective at deflecting spray, or attracting the ladies?

A lot of the TARIFA boards (they're all the same shape) produce a lot of spray because of the square ends and huge fins right out on the corners.....Even with concave.
I had to sell mine after 3 months simply because of the damn spray.
Got a slingy 130 sx 2005 now and it's great 'coz of the rounded plan shape.

Tough to say. It's been suggested that I make a really big one and wear it around my neck to keep the spray off my face. This would look like the big cones the vets put on the dogs to keep them from biting at their stitches. I just don't think the ladies would be able to control themselves though - so I'll stick with the calf gaskets (which also keeps me from biting my toenails).

Think I will get some of those Gaskets, what colour options are there, as dont want to look to daft
I have a UG FLX, which throws up a lot of spray, square corners and raised foot beds make it worse, can anticipate it now and close eyes ready for it, its a real pain, eyes are sore and gritty for days. Tried some Seaspecks but bust them quite early on.
Glad I have now found the solution
