At $500 the cost of being a fashion victim is high. What is really wrong with a neoprene drysuit, probably warmer, probably drier and a damn site cheaper.

Last I checked neoprene drysuits were a lot more expensive than baggy wakeboarding drysuits. A windsurfing neoprene drysuit is usually $400-500.00 US.

A wakeboading drysuit suit is $275.00-$375.00.

Wakeboarding suits never worked for windsurfers because they get pushed under water when water starting. This puts the neck seal under water a lot more than with kiting. This is when drysuits take in water. All drysuits take in water, and all fill with air while riding, even when you burb them dry before you go out. A baggy suits holds more air, so you get wetter in one. Windsurfers stay dryer in neoprene suits.

A wakeboarding suit is more fun for kiting. It does not put any restriction on lifting the arms overhead, like a neoprene suit does. You will be less tired riding in a baggy suit.
