I know I am a known best basher but this is from the heart.
Those are two of the worst names I have ever heard for a kite. They sound like tribe names on survivor or somthing. Go back to the drawing board. waroo is a flat fish, do you realy want to give us that kind of ammo if the kite fails. allura is a little girls name in a fantasy game, I mean come on guys find a name that means somthing.

This is scary, but have to agree with you. 400+ for bar? Shit that is one of you cheap yargas! Anybody spending that kind of money on a bar is just nuts.
About the name for the flat kite, how about Flying Fish? If the kitel fails, you can always change it to the stinking fish . Yeah, I know, this is a cheap shot, but have to have fun no matter what.

I forgot to ask you Alex, if you end up using the name I suggested, do I get a quiver of your flat kites?

Yes you do, but we're not naming it the Flying Fish.

not waroo, something most people can pronounce without having to have heard someone say it before.

I have been testing Best's flat kite (The Waroo or Allura) for a while now
and i just cant get enough of it, i been mainly just riding all the time on
the flat kite.
Its like having 3 different types of kites made in one (hangtime, power and
speed).
The kite is very responsive and has little bar pressure which i love
especially in the waves. You dont have to force the bar to turn the kite
when hitting the wave, also whats great is the depower, it fully depowers
killing the power of the kite allowing you to hit the lip of the wave at
alot of speed and not overshooting the wave instead, like on regular kites.
Also what i found amazing when i first flew our flat kite at the beginning
of the year is the hang time, because of the extra surface area on the
canopy it allows you to get the height and distance from a flat kite which
is awsome. Also when in the air you dont have to worry about flying the kite
around trying to stop youself from flying under your kite. The flat kite
just sits above your head, because its shaped like a wing it flies, so when
in the air the kite flies along the wind window, which helps the kite travel
with you and allowing you to keep it above your head.
Doing technical tricks on it made things alot more enjoyable. With the power
the kite generates it gives more pop when edging. Also doing kiteloop handle
passes, with the responsiveness of the kite and little bar pressure, you get
the height you need allowing you to land softer and also the turning speed
of the kite making it easier to loop the kite and has less force during the
loop decreasing your chances of hurting your shoulders.
When our flat kites come out and you see one try it out and see for
yourself, it's awesome.
Bummer i didnt get to use a 9m prototype in the PKRA but wasnt allowed as we didnt announce it yet, but next year for sure.
I was super stoked on at least getting to ride on our new Yarga Pros for the contest.
