know you got me really thinkin.......
Are you sure you don't work for Best?
To be honest - I don't find the Bar pressure that bad - I just like to relax may arms once and a while and I don't trust that little stopperball.
Can't wait!

split the front and rear line attachment at the kite, add in two pulleys at the kite and drop the 2:1 depower at the bar.

It's possible reduce the bar pressure also by a method of mechanical reversal.
It's simple but it requires 3 more pulleys to use so I'm not sure if that would be practical.
Maybe one day I will try it.

All the above problems could be solved with an ajustable stopper ball that also has an adjustment on the tension of the ball release. This would give the best of both worlds, a system that you could sail onehanded but adjust the tension accordingly so you can still realease the ball. This would have to be a winner

Sorry Guys
The wind has just been tooooo good here.
I will have the Pics and directions posted late tomorrow night.
Two more kites were converted and tested here this weekend, all with the same response. "Bar presure is lighter than a C kite now"

Congratulation if it's working out.
My concern is when te bar pressure is so light,
if the feedback on the bar is still there where the kite is without any slack backlines
pluss if there is any safety compromise with the conversion?

Ronnie,
I think that would really reduce bar pressure but what about the hands?
What about grabbing a pulley or a line after a one handed trick or a
handlepass?
There could be something like an extra bar below a bar with the pulley
system you displayed, or something... too heavy then, i guess...more
drag....more this , more that...
