Kiteloops, hard landings and the Nobile NHP 137

Postby Luke Palin » Mon Jul 05, 2010 12:18 pm

I am looking at buying a Nobile NHP 137 and was wondering what the advantages of this larger size are? I’ve been practicing kiteloops recently and have kicking the crap out of my ankles as a result of hard landings. Will a large board with large rocker help or hinder there punishing landings? I’m 72kg and 177cm- would the 137 be a good choice of size for mainly wakestyle riding in flat to choppy conditions, or would the 134 be preferable?

Thanks,

Luke.

With your weight I would go for 134. I also ride that size at 70kg. Used to have 2009 model 131x40. I am also a fan of big kiteloops. I would say that the additional rocker that the 2010 NHP has helps a little on hard landings. Ofcourse try before you buy!
