Flysurfer Big air kite announcement date?

Postby nothing2seehere » Fri Nov 03, 2023 9:01 am

Does anyone know when the Flysurfer Era kite will be announced? Its pictured on instagram (on the beach and in the air) in the hands of the team riders so its not exactly a secret. Just wondering when its going to go live (or given its flysurfer be teased).

Can you link the pictures, I want to see.

Also: what will the new soul be next spring with Sonic being more of a soul in the last iteration?

The soul will be 90% of the kite performance for 65% of the price. :cooltext:

I'd love to try one but it only looks cheap compared to Ozone prices.

Has anyone tested Era? Its interesting to get info about this kite. I am looking for something to replace my Boost3 9m.

It is already released in 11-23 and available. Check the FS official pages. Also the stores.

Tested the 8 and 9, beautiful kites. Extremely quick and stable. 0 flutter. Does make a racing sound in the loop. Liiight barpressure even lighter than the Orbit. Loops quicker than the Orbit. Has a slight delay on steering, but very small, it's a bit less direct than the Orbit. Extremely good high end.

Definitely a top tier kite.

The boost never was a proper big air contender. More like a suitable freeride kite for all levels, with rhe instant relaunch and ease of use. The era definitely is something else.

How is it different to boost? Both are high AR 5 strut-kites. Maybe because boost didn't sell well, the decided to rename it to era?
I have tried boost 1 & boost 2, both are otherwise good kites but I wasn't impressed their high wind capabilities - what kind of "boost" kite is that.. Edge and XR and all the others from the same class what I have tried handle high winds better.
