Hai,
it has been more work that i have expected it to be, but there we are:
(The picture is a link. Click it)
We had a lot of fun in the "most sexy downwind prop-missile pilot" thread: how can we ride 40-50 mph in only 20-25 mph of wind?
BTW: I have deleted the preliminary version linked to in: Wind and Current in same direction. Getting out??.
There had been several hundreds of downloads but my traffic limit allowes for this .
P.S.: I had fun writing this basic kitesurfing theory and i did it most of all for the sake of safety. Understanding what You do helps with Your risc assessment.

Hai,
Waker and i had some correspondence already. Waker sending me 26 mails, me replying in 13 mails. So i´m tired of that already.
Please refer to Stephen Bourne´s work on a Hydrofoil Sail Craft here.
Especially the background referring to Australian and U.S. patents and Stephen Bourne´s technical paper may be intesting to compare. He presented the same theory with one more point of special interest but what was missing in Stephen´s work are most of the mathematical proofs, the kite specific and dynamic aspects.

The truth of your concept is in fact, you tried to find a state with vmg rate >1 If you ARE at vmg rate >1 this works in absence of any resistance, but you can never get there because you work with negative angels unless vmg can rise (e > 45°). A negative angel is not possible in geometrics.

Hai,
now this is getting really funny or ridiculous.
waker wrote: A negative angel is not possible in geometrics. i recommend everyone look at "Inverse trigonometric function" on wikipedia.orgYou find arcsine defined for angles in the interval -π/2 ≤ y ≤ π/2. Or see any standard book on mathematics: sin(-alpha) = - sin(alpha). For every alpha ≠ 0 one of the arguments must be a negative angle. waker wrote: I recommend you to keep away from me at any spot if you don't want to learn my basic concept of physics....
How shall i put this - a threat?
There have been several hundreds (maybe in thousands by now but i don´t look up my statistics too often) of downloads of Downwind for Dummies and only one single person with negative feedback: "waker".
