I think this is an awesome video, cause it has very accessible tricks that make you want to progress and inspire you, and has lots of shots of the kite itself. Sometimes all the handle pass videos get boring. I think this will be great publicity for the new kite, lots of shots of it's super fast turning and you can tell the rider is very comfortable with it, looks like the most fun session ever!!! Makes the wait for my 12 even harder....

companies should put out this type of riding with alot of footage of what the kite can do, it would be a much better sales tool than close-ups of waveriding and mobes where you don't even see the kite they are trying to sell

edit: added a link that is more reliable....

i have said it before and will say it again,

if you are making a video that is trying to sell a kite, you need to show the kite,

there are far to many closeups of the rider

not until the double kiteloops at the end do you really get to see what is going on and you don't get to see the relaunch after a crash or anything like that

9 minutes of video and you see the kite for maybe 1 minute.

show the *&)(*& kite

It isn't a official North Rebel promovideo, it's just a vid of someone using the Rebel ;)

I, too, thought it was a great video. I thought the kite was visible quite a bit. I realize this is not a North video, but in my mind it could be a good promo for the Rebel. Would be nice to throw in some waves too ! Kite seems to work. Agreed that it makes the rider seem very comfortable with the kite.

You are kidding, right? When you look out and watch a kiter how often are you sitting in the water so close you can't see the kite? Never? Exactly, you see the kite and the kiter and yet the the videos focus in so tight the rider might as well be at a cable park or towed by a helicopter.

its all about the kite
