Do you think one pump or two pump is worth it? or would you rather keep it simple with regular oneway valves?
Only system I like is the SS one pump, but all the struts don't get tight. Naish is a pain to fix and LF spider system SUCKED! Now for 07 looks like every company exempt Airush and Best will have a one or two pump system.

I'd be interested to see if one pump is more popular in America - With all the lazy ass people over here I bet it is - Personally I'd rather keep it simple and deal with the agony of removing the hose from one strut and put it in the other - I have problems fixing things as it is - One Pump would make it much worse

One pump is the only way to go! Once you’ve had it, you’ll never want to go back.
Strut inflation pressure is not an issue on the newer Slingshot kites. Never to had to repair any component of the SS one-pump system.

Actually noticed the other day, that one pump is exhausting! With the little breaks on regular kites, you can catch your breath in between! Without this I find you pump and pump and pump!!

Yes,
Why would anyone want to pump up the struts separately...if there is no loss in performance?? Yes, I'd like to do more work for absolutely no gain please??
As for fixing the LE on a One Pump kite, it is very simple and only takes a few minutes more. The nipples at each strut actually help align the LE when you reinsert the bladder.
Yes, I do realize I've used "nipple", "insert" and "bladder" in the same sentence. You sickos.

If someone could release a one pump system that has no added weight to the overall kite and no chance of any weird problems like sticky valves or extra fittings, and you could control inflation pressures separatly to different areas I think I would be keen. Until then I'm very against it.
For me pumping up up 5 struts and a small leading edge are fine.
Needless to say opinions are strongly divided on the topic!

one pump? hell yes. buy a small coleman rechargable pump to inlfate 80% of it and top off with the hand pump. Works great, especially on larger kites.

Hey,
Have you ever lost your grip on the strut valve cap and lost all the pressure when trying to cap the stem?
I have and that is why I want a one pump. I also try to pinch my valves instead of using the auto stopper ball inside the stem. It seem the stopper balls inside the stem hardly ever work. However, I do have an urge to try them everytime I inflate my kite knowing they will not work.
That sounds like a survey to see how much time is lost capping stems.
From what the experts in this forum are saying about correct psi in the struts you would think they would be lossing one millisecond of air from the time it takes to insert the cap and that would lead to loss of performance in all the high tech kites they are flying. I would think they would be the ones bitching to get a one pump.
