Postby Er Presidente » Sat Dec 01, 2007 10:07 pm

I am looking for a first sufrboard to use in light wind days. Dont know how to ride strapless so need an easy to use board.

Presidente, can you give us a little info about yourself? like weight, quiver, conditions where you ride? The Trespass is a pretty cool board. One of our shop riders has one and does pretty well with it in light winds. It's a sweet board and the pads/straps setup is pretty nice too.

I've heard good things about the JL's but I know for sure the Trespass works well for someone your size and a 12m Era in light winds. It's got a decent amount of volume and a little less rocker than most surfboards to get you going in the light stuff.
Hope this helps!

Stay away from the JL surfboards. Construction is not the best. The Caution board is top quality and rides great. The Caution guys do nothing but ride waves, so I dont think you can go wrong with one of these. I ride UG boards, but had a JL and it broke the first time out, cutting back on a wave. I think they come out of the Cobra factory. Just my opinion.
