Review for Naish Shockwave 2006 12.0

Times tested: 2-5
Range: 14kn to 28kn

Good: Depower, Quality, Octopus system

Bad: Heavy in lighter winds, No One way inflate valve,

Review: First impressions,

Octopus system saves a lot of time meaning on the water before your friends :-) The kite needs at least 15kts to fly properly other wise it tends to drop in the water and with light winds can be hard to relaunch. (mind you must be pumped up hard enough in the first place!) Depower is as they say about bows, great for beginners and reduced the fear factor considerably. The bar pressure is a bit higher than a C but not so bad as most of the reviews say.

As for riding and waves I have no idea once I can stay on the board /ride upwind etc I'll be able to comment.
