I recently visited the BSKA round 2 at Earnse Bay on Walney Island in the UK.
Hadlow had been riding there the day before and blowing away the folks again. Some of the guys down the beach were reporting that he'd been testing a six line kite. Anybody got any idea's!!

I have seen Hadlow's kite during the pkra in austria and looks indeed really interesting. The 5+6th lines are not going all the way down to the bar but they are attached to the front lines (after about thy run about 5 meters down). It is a vary interesting set up and I have no idea what is the use of this set up (I believe must offer better depower but on the other hand I might be wrong)

It will be to keep the canopy profile.
And if the 2 extra fronts are attached to the front lines, that would just make it a big bridle.

its a very reduced bridle system... it offers depower and stability!
i also watched aaron ride in austria on those kites and you could see how the kite changed the angle of attack very nice when he was sheetint in/out...
the kite looked realy solid but was still a prototype

In Coche the 5th/6th lines on Hadlow's kite appeared to come off the front lines ~ 10 M from the kite There was no central 5th line. It seemed to help the kite keep shape. He did roll it once and it was an issue, got tangled, so basically a mini-bridle with no pulleys.
