I have tested an 06 Warrior and currently own the Firestarter. The Warrior seemed to be a little softer and had more flex....in turn you loose some support with the softer harness. If you really enjoy riding overpowered and doning powered move like kiteloops then I would suggest the Firestarter. If not then go for the Warrior, they are both top notch harnesses either way you go

Warrior v.s. Firestarter

I had the same question. It comes down to your style of riding. Hardcore wake style, and powered moves = Firestarter. I wanted a more comfortable harness that would suit my Freeride and big air style = Warrior.

I don't know, i come from a seat harness giving me back pain after a long session. I jus bought a Firestarter because of more back support. Can't say more about it.
In the shop I tried the warrior and it gives less support. Also the Firestarter as some flexible "tips" giving more lateral confort.

The best is to go to a shop and try both in the shop if you can't take one on the water.

first up you guys are DORKS

if you are worring about which harness to wear while doing kiteloops you are not doing kiteloops.

by definition you are to be unhooked- right?

not to mention when you are getting pulled while looping unhooked or not who is thinking about how comfy the harness is at the time?

i own the firestarter seems fine a littel bit too much $$ but it is better the Dakine

Hi,

I tried both, the Firestarter & the Warrior 2007 at my local shop on Fehmarn.
As the others said, the WA is softer that the stiffer FS.
The WA seems to be a bit wider at the side of the hips than the narrower FS.
For me the FS is fitting more comfortable, even it is stiffer. So I decided to buy the FS.

Cheers, Gunnar

Actually you are wrong....A lot of people start of doing kiteloops hooked in. It's called progression.
