Hey everyone,

I am looking into purchasing an 8m & a 10 m 2007 Naish Raven and I have not found a shop in the US that will confirm that they have both yet.

Can someone help and connect me with the right shop?

Thanks :thumb:

Hi Fred,
Not 100% sure because I am traveling up north right now but try http://www.oceanextremesports.com 1-866-790-7873
There's a good chance they might have them or locate them for you.
Good luck!

How about naish.com?

I think you'd have to contact them, but surely they can get hold of them(?)...great kites by the way. :-)

I tried to get a 19 but Naish has none left and will not be making any more.

Sad

I love Naish but I may have to get something different for my big kite since they only make 16's now. I know the 16's are "supposed" to have the low end of 18/19, but I don't buy it

Honestly, it feels like the industry is trying to phase out heavy riders.
Quite a few companies have a 14 as their biggest kite.

Seems like they want us off the beach

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you weigh? I'm sure there's alot of options out there for you.

Naish 8M Raven are to fast??

You need a Torch 8M.
Sollid kite and bitching for powered unhooked moves. Fast reponce without the twitchy movement, Double unhooked kiteloops that are undercontrol, good power and huge airtime too.
Yes I own/ride the mighty 8M 07 Naish Torch.
I have riden the 8M Raven great fun kite - but the Torch is more user friendly and you would get more out of it.

cheers S

I'm 200 lb, and I use the 14 as my smallest kite..getting me going from about 11mph...on my 5'5'' fish. If I go on a slightly bigger board, it will have me out as long as the kite can stay in the air. The 14 Raven has even better low end. I am really not kidding when I say I think my torch 14 has about the same low end as my 18 Best BFK..I never rode them side by side..but still....and it is way more fun to ride when the wind pics up.

As the previous poster is saying there are options for you, but see if you can try one in low wind on a surfboard, and you'll have a lot of fun. :-)

Yes I really do need to start using a surfboard for lighter stuff.

I was being over dramatic. I will find something.

ah hehehe, you caught me. I use my 14 as my biggest kite. But really using a surfboard, is so much fun..even just playing in ankle snapper waves. You should really see some of the local guys here..so good with their boards it is actually a lot of fun just to watch.
