Apparently you guys are too serious and don't get it.

You don't see how putting an ugly old (dead actually) lady who for many epitomizes greed, elitism and plain being an a-hole in their ad is a great idea? That should attract plenty of 25 to 35 year old males to the product. C'mon, it's marketing genius.

Putting a really hot chick in a batwoman outfit on (literally on) the batwing kite and having her caption say "I love riding my batwing" would be an example of a truly lame ad with no appeal at all. Now that would be worth bitching about.

Oh, I got to demo the Rampage II (for about ten minutes one day). Seemed like a good kite. Not knocking the kite.

No, Im not too serious
those ads just suck

Im the first one to kick off the politically incorrect jokes and the last one to end when its gone way too far.

the ads just plain suck. theyre not funny, period. Maybe if the captions were better there could be something there but they fall flat.

Im casting my vote to fire the marketing guy.

Or why you would even want to associate yourself with him.
They must be trying to tap into the redneck market.

But, the adds seem to be working since we are talking about them

I am awaiting the day this administartion is out of office.

I look forward to a day that I can open a magazine, newspaper, or webpage and not see this current administartion blatantly in my face.

I am trying to forget.

Kiteforum and kiting is my 'safe place.' "Slide?"

We need to forget about the references and inuendos and get on with a better looking future.

If the add really does sell, we are all a little pretentious in what we say and actually do.

There are better ways to sell stuff. You don't need the sex either.

Products sell if they are good. Advertisers look to deep into the false reality advertisers so choose to create.

I agree on this one. The Windwing ads are confusingly bad. Bush, OJ, dead rich lady who left her money to her dog instead of to a charity..... all people to stay away from in a big way. Bad associations for the product. Major marketing faux pas... yank it fast....
