An inverter would work with a small pump, but not practical to pump up a kite in the parking lot. At best you would have to get the closest parking spot and then run a long cord to the nearest inflation area unless you kite at Pismo or something and can park on the beach.

I've thought of that too. The low pressure stages are a dime a dozen. The problem is that the high pressure stage is really an in-between stage for most purposes. The 12V pumps to fill car tires will go to much higher pressure, but much slower. I've never found a good intermediate reciprocating pump that can do 10-15 psi with reasonable flow rate.
I was thinking an RC airplane alloy piston engine would be similar in size to what the bravo pump uses, but would require some modification to seal the intake and exhaust and fit the check valves used on the bravo. The lubrication system would be another difficulty as you don't want oil in your bladders.
If there was a power outlet at 3rd for example, we could just get a "community" compressor and let everybody use it.

Could a leaf blower do the job?

Perhaps we need a solar array, battery bank, and inverter there(?) I've also thought about approaching the golf course about tapping into their power. They were pretty good about letting us poach thier water.
The other approach at 3rd would be to put a turbine up on one of those golf-course net poles. It could keep a big tank of compressed air topped off (mechanically or electrically).

It could get a kite up to 1 psi in a few seconds.

Very nice. Is it a two stage pump? How long per kite?

Got another larger model I've been using in my car for the last 4 years.
Almost released it to
NSI but decided the fab/assembly work was too
much effort. Would you pay close to $300 for it?

More info needed. Please share! What is it made out of? Pumping time? Maximum pressure achieved?
