I don't think they are out yet.
There not here at least, anyway.
I'm told next month sometime.

'08s are definitely out, at least in limited quantities. i saw (did not ride) an '08 666 yesterday. board looks similar, same pads, same basic shape. main difference is that the step cap profile is changed, more rounded as opposed to squarer shape on step cap on my '07 666 resulting in flexier tips.
feedback from those that have ridden is that it feels a little softer / flexier than '07 666. not dramatically, just marginally flexier.
concave and bottom look identical at least to the naked eye.

Got my 2008, 666 yesterday. Cold northerlies makes me hesitant to try it out because, as the 2007, I am certain that the 666 is ment to ride frikkin hard to be rewarding and performing as it should. Gaycruising will not reveal its caracteristics...
Got a fast review of a friend though. 666 is still stiff. The Shinn is a great board. Its carachteristics (how do you spell characteristics?) is between 666 and 555. E.g perfect for choppy and crappy conditions.
Will take the opportunity to try the Shinn out, before I put the 666 in the water...

Fake leather; a life style. Cant wait to put this baby to the test.

that fake leather was an idea of a local rider(Jacques Pernet) at my spot (he's the designer of the shinns )

Nobile555 , 131 x 40
Softer board, eats chop, demands a bit more power to perform, tends to sit in the water. Didn´t try the 07 but I guess its about the same.
Nobile666 , 129 x 39
As the 07, just a tiny bit more forgiving tips, not any huge difference. Fast and very nice board. A bit "stiff" in chopp, but lots of power and pop. This is my preferred board.
Shinn , 132 x 40
Feels like a very long board. Maybe due to its very straight outline. I got a freeride-board-feeling and not so much freestyle in it. A tiny bit of surfboard feeling to it, and a bit bouncy in chopp. Smooth in turns, but a bit skatey aswell and a tendency to release the edge and slide. I heard the 130 is nice.
