hi all , new here.
been reading for a while, learning a lot.

-> hey barrys3291: while you're in Egypt come check us out in Israel.
warm welcoming community and great beaches -
Tel Aviv and Haifa's Bat Galim - well known (world)
for great surf and winds.

if you need linx or info - just ask.

++edited:

Barry,

Check windguru archives.

Been to El Gouna 2 times, late Nov and early Dec. Wind is fickle. You can get lucky, or not much at all.

Guru archives confirm my experience

I was in Ras Sudr about 3 weeks ago and the wind seemed to be tailing off. Fantastic spot though.

I'd imagine you'd be better off going to the resorts on the other side of the Gulf (of Suez) and getting as far south as possible.

Hi,
in this time of the year, ie xmas, I would rather go more south in Egypt. Consider Lahami Bay, next airport is Marsa Alam.
The windsituation down there should be much better than in the Hurghada aera.
I was there and I really enjoyed it.
Cheers,
Stefan
