Easy to see how different new kite is compared to proto from 2007. Gone are high PA and narrow wingtips. It seems like handling and turning capabilities have been recognized more important than some performance oriented goals.
Would be interesting to hear from Mr Hansen how it has happened, why new kite looks like that. Of course light weight becomes from light wind use for hf, but there is much more than light weight in kite design.
