Blade Vertigo 2008 kites arrive in the uk

Postby zenna kitesurf » Sat Dec 15, 2007 1:23 pm

The first of the 2008 have arrived in the uk,
They have made some good improvments on the kite from what i can see, First look,,
With the MAD system and the extra attachment points on the wingtip, The LE seems more ridged and thicker
also there has got extra protection on the LE stitching,,
They have added a handle on the wingtip which we had no notice about i will get info on this
And the design looks COOL,,

As for the bar they have added more features Like the grip, O shit handles, elasticated strap on the power up
strap to stop flapping and eliminate tangle,
All bars kites come with leashes,

They have put a Handle in the inside wingtip, will find out more info on this ,,

The MAD system can be changed over to single strup pump, or one pump within minutes,,

I do like the karki,,

The de-power strap has changed for the better they have put a velcro strap around the red strap stop it flapping and twisting, its slides through with no effort,

On the black power up strap they have fitted an elasticated strip stop the power up strap twisting and flapping about,

Carl i think the handle is for self rescue.

got to try the verrtigo 08 10m again at 25 knt 3m waves.

it's more stable and better bar feel than the 07'.
you are going to love it !!!

i need to replace my old 06' tribal.....

Had the 7m 10m and 12m all out at the same time here today!

The kite has a real quality feel added to it, the leading edge is way more solid than the 07.

All the little extra's add up to massive user friendly kite. It is also very stable, and the last years model was very stable anyway.

The designs all look SO FRESH! Very different look to all the others out there 8)

Need some big winds and swell now to really try it out :D

Well not sure yet on the 08 Vertigo but the 07's were very very good at the high end and this version is ment to have a bigger wind range!

Will let u know once we have some stronger winds again here, hopefully soon.

The 7m & 10m were really for my GF and I'll be getting a 9m and the 12m 8)

dunno about the 7m but I have the 12m 07 vert and the wind range on that is bigger than my old nova2 12m (feels more comfortable at the top end)
