Damn you guys, you should have posted a warning:

If you are over 30 and have lost your invulnerability Do not READ!!! :accident:

Its been on my mind too much lately. I am a safe person even though I do a lot of high risk activites. But, at 32 you start to think about these things more and more and pictures really dont help!

Good topic though....make sure to keep up the explainations. It will help people much better than the "dont do this, do that, make sure to look both ways..." mantra

Holly $ breathe, did you evacuate to the US?

In Playa Copal I have seen too many close calls, my buddy even got beat up slightly and had to take a day off.

I have see a German teenage girl getting lofted, but she released quickly when she was about 5 feet in the air. Good instincts those kids have.

2 talented if it makes you feel a little better my dads 52 and hes still kiting strong obviously he shares the same view about trying to be safe but i do think these are rare occasions of bad luck, i personally cant wait to get out on the water again and im sure kiteloops will freak me out for a while but i will get over it because i know that i love this sport + ive been doing nothing for 7 mnths and im gagging for a session
