Where to go for 1 week kite, sun and beach vacation in May

I'm going for a one week vacation in May. It has to have a nice beach and wind.

Canary Islands if you don't feel like going too far
I am heading to Peru but that's a bit further... (going to Canary in 10 days...)

Egypt is near and cheap. May should be a good time.
