May 23rd: arrived at the East Coast!

Finally we made it back to the East Coast of the USA. Here the shots of the last days and the places we stopped at.

May 24th: Waiting for wind on Sandy Hook, New Jersey

Very light winds at Sandy Hook, New Jersey. No kiting possible.

May 25th: Riding at Kite Island, New Jersey

We went on a boat and rode to Kite Island, where we kited in 13-16 knots of wind in a big, open space and explored some islands further east.

May 26th: Beautiful day at Kite Island, New Jersey

About 25 Kiters came and enjoyed a 26°C warm and windy day, with winds from 20-30+ knots.
Riding a 16 sqm kite in 25 knots is much safer then riding a smaller kite...took a 12, now I hurt my rib, no more kiting for me until

May 27th and 28th: Flying to Burlington, Vermont

We flew to the Burton factory in Burlington, Vermont. Here we met Jake Burton from Burton Snowboards, who produce snowboards and also own a surfboard company.

May 29th: Hatteras Area

The wind blew in the morning, then dropped around noon.
Fine with me, no riding possible for me anyway!
Time to explore some beaches of the area!

May 30th: no wind in Hatteras!

This day we had no wind in Hatteras, but therefore I managed to explore almost all beaches on the Hatteras Island, about 25. I took pictures and videos, so expect the info online soon on www.kitebeaches.com

May 31st: 20-30 knots in Hatteras!

Excellent day at Barton's Beach with 20 knots slowly increasing to 30 knots during the day. Nobile had a demo day at the shop and former World Champion Mark Shin showed his skimboard skills

June 1st: Charleston South Carolina

Beautiful day at the Breach Inlet on the Isle of Palms side. Nice small rolled in, warm and sunny. Last day of the Nobile Demo Tour!
