thanks to both of u for a sic lookin machine... The Clearcoat is so shiny you can use the board as a mirror. Not for long!

Also, Naish team Rider Sam Medysky just picked up his RogueWave Custom Course Racing Board from Lee.
"Its 144x44, has large fins on the heel side and smaller fins on the tow side" as well as a rounded toeside edge.

Wont comment the boards - but it does not look like new wave boards like your thread title says ?
I got fooled by the title 8)

Just a bit confusing with a "brand" name like that, with a space between Rogue and Wave...

Hope the boards are great :thumb:

Kindly, Peter Frank

Just for you Peter i changed the title and removed the space.....

Got out on the 16m SB3 and the Fat Bastard in less than 10kts (before it filled in) and it was great... board just stays right on top of the water in the lulls - much like the spleene doors and other larger boards...

was quickly overpowered when it picked up - came in and switched to a 138cm...

pretty decent out of a nothing day...

Lee's boards rock

It's all about the soft rail! So few people get that. The current snowboard construction boards are tough as hell and easier to make, but they literally cant hold a candle to the feel of a soft rail and good rocker line. Rocker, rail and flex are the holy trinity of surf board shaping. Why would it be any different for kiteboards?

The red one below is the one that started it all for me.

The clear coat is drying on my latest one as I type this.

Stoked on Rogue Waves!

Couldn't agree with ya more Brent... I've demo'd all sorts of boards (naish, nobile, Aboards, North) and while some upwind very well, none of them are anywhere near as smooth in the chop and thru the turns (waves) as the RogueWaves.... I learned how to use sliders on my prime board, took the pain't right down to Fiberglass... thought i messed it up, took it back to Lee.... he took one look and said "Nah.. u still have 7 layers of Fiberglass to go"... lol

Also, gotta love the lifetime warranty to the original owner... u break the board and he'll give ya a new one.

Lee's starting to get into kites as well - He'll have Eclipse Thrusters to demo very shortly....
Great kite! He's becoming a one stop shop
