Is nobile 666 to big for upwind in light wind for 170lb man?

Is nobile 666 to big for upwind in light winds? I weigh 170 lbs and get 12 knots average and ocasionaly up to 15 knots. The board is 143 X 48

can't be too big for upwind, can be too big for higher winds though. I have the 666 139x44 I weigh 225lbs this is an upwind machine. It is a bit much when it blows over 20mph, then I get on a smaller board.

No, you'll be fine with that board, but you can probably ride the 139 just as well in those conditions

i am 2 bills and smoke upwind in 12 - 13kts on a 666 132 and a '08 rebel 14 they will point if you let them build up some board wpeed.

I ride su-2 Big Foot for upwind, really nice board, very light and plains early and cuts really good 135/45
