maybe a variant of the truck launch? fix c-loop to something on your dock. swim out with kite with lines pre-untangled. leave the kite resting on the water flying. swim back and launch.

the way i find it the easiest when i dont have a beach is by boat my friend and i do that a lot on his boat, or when on island that is really crouded we use his or my boat.

Yup, it can be gusty, which can make it interesting, however at this spot there is a long fetch so the wind is steadier then other lakes that I have sailed.
