Has anyone rigged that mini 5th line? On the Wainman website, it is called the double-depower, but it looks like a 5th line to me.
I have been riding suicide, but i had to release my kite and then there is no leash attached (only to chicken loop) and I lost me kite....i also don't like hooking it on the front lines as the leash gets in the way - any rider experiences?

Jimmy, not tried the 5th line option yet but have moved the leash attachment ring ontop of the chicken loop so if you release you don't lose the kite when you release, it works great and depowers enough to safely get the kite under control

Hello there...
First of all...thx for a great, and more than often, a highly skilled forum.
Got the Boss, love it
. Been wondering too, about the double depower. Love the 5th line on my 07 Rhino. Don´t want to ditch the kite when i release the CL. But moving the leash ring from the CL, to just above the safety release, seems to me like it will interfere with the efficiency of the safety release? If not totally destroy the function.... Seen it on another post, with pic´s...couldn´t find it though? Btw
Does anyone have a guide, to all the tuning options, on this magnificent beast?
Thx.

So I love my rabbits, but my 9m Smoke Hindenbuuuurged AGAIN - 3 times today in heavy surf - is there nothing that can be done to rectify this?
I know that earlier (in the thread) it was discussed that you shouldn't sheet out when the kite is above you etc. but sometimes it is unavoidable when ducking through huge surf.
I just can't trust a kite that hindenburgs in huge surf (and you have to trust your equipment - especially in surf).
Anyone? I know this has happened to others....

i was thinking that a stopper-ball may work... just seem like a major design flaw when your kite falls out the sky when you sheet out - it sucks when you have to worry about your kite falling out the sky instead of going out there to have fun.
