Introducing the 2009 Rise - we've taken all of the great characteristics of the 08 version and made this kite even better!



1) More stylish for the kite-fashion conscious set.

2) More depower and top end range.

3) New, individually designed planforms for all sizes. We've tamed down the 4 and 6 and made the larger sizes much faster!

4) Smaller diameter struts, while retaining a larger diameter LE. This improves aerodynamics and has increased the turning speeds of the larger kites, while at the same time not compromising ease of relaunch and the rock solid in-flight stability. The Rise is one of the few SLE's on the market that will never taco.

5) A more nimble overall feel in the larger sizes.

6) Even more efficient than the 08 version, allowing you to ride an ever smaller kite!

7) More color choices - yellow, orange, red, black, bright green, army green and blue.

I love the OR vent kites! I have the 8/10/12 and 14 and I love them all!

When should be the 09 ready to try?

Does it have higher aspect ratio or is it just the computer drawing?

So:

1) Who's got the best clearance deal on 08 Rises?
2) When are the next batch of sexy OR ads appearing?

These are looking great...! Wow of a kite, just one the 12 today, fast turning or what... Great graphics, look forward to getting one up there! As far as I could tell the 08 8m was higher aspect too (Compared to larger sizes)... helps to slow down turning speed a bit... from lightning fast maybe.

That's just how it appears in the graphic - the aspect ratio is almost identical to the 08 Rise. We did not want to mess with greatness.

Any pics of the 09 Bar?

Indeed any pics. Overall the 08 bar is a good bar but we need 3 improvements for the new bar:

- Change the chickenloop for the 09 bar. The old CL sucked BIGTIME for unhooking. this would be priority 1.
- Better swivel
- Better bargrip with soft bar-ends would be nice as well.
