If I wanted a boat for kite use I would go for the PeterLynn Kitecat.
Think it seems a bit more up to the job.
But hey, good job and keep it up! Competition is good! Thats what makes the sport progress.

Several years ago a friend was working on a flying proa design ( hope I spelled it correctly ) The main hull was around a 30 ft long that looked like one of those long hawaiian racing canoes the out rigger was only about 10 ft long with just enough floatation for the sailer and a guest to sit on and not sink when not sailing. The sail was a triangular concept that set on a mast but swiched from one end then the other. The concept was to sail the shore line driveing the main hull through the water while flying out of the water on the out-rigger. He desighned it for off shore breazzes and flat water. it did not turn jibe or come about it just switched direction from going left or right. Sort of a twin tip. I don't think he finished it but the concept was intrieging. The kite would have absolutly been a great idea for the proa too.
