I use Mercedes G-class. It fits all my gear + my friends windsurfing gear. And I don´t even have to use roof racks.
And my other car is Austin Mini (the Mr.Bean car). It also fits all my things, but it demands asphalt roads

On a nice day, I use my old Isuzu Trooper. A weekend with the sawzal and a used roll bar from criagslist and an old car becomes fun again.
