I agree, very nice suit...reminded me of my snowboard gear as well. I wasn't able to tell but was there a spot for your knife? My Mystic has the knife on the side but it would seem like a lot of work and wasted precious time to be looking for your knife though all that suit when you are in a pinch.

Yes, we will have the Lucifer in stock soon around November 10. You can purchase it here:

Saw one at Surf Expo. It is intriguing to combine some other cold weather clothing designs into a dry suit. Never in water that cold but would be interested in checking it out if I were. Looks like Dre is scoping out Home Depot for one?!

I agree, this is yet another case of form before function.

Drysuits suck balls to swim in at the best of times. They took a pretty standard drysuit and then added a whole bunch of stuff to make it look "cooler".

If you have to swim any distance in this thing you are fooked! All that extra drag from the hood and pretty harness cover will make swiming even harder.

I would also be concerned about how the harness covering will hold up to a hard crash. Looks to me like it would catch a lot of water and could lead to a catastrophic failure.

Better to go with a tried and true design like the Ocean Rodeo drysuits. They know how to make a good suit, cause in this part of the world we wear drysuits for half the year :)

What about bodydragging upwind to retrieve your board?? Seems that the extra drag from baggy "jacket" and open (scoops) wrist cuffs, hood and neck can make that a more difficult task too.

I have been using the Ocean Rodeo dry suits for several years now, they are made in Canada and the quality of construction is first class.

Hello everyone!

Thought I'd sign up for Kiteforum (long overdue anyway) and answer the question that was originally asked in this post.

The Lucifer Drysuit will be arriving in shops in mid November.

Their are a very limited number of Lucifer's being made this winter, so there are a just a few exclusive shops that will be carrying them in the US and Canada:
-Silent Sports: THORNHILL, ON, CANADA: 905-889-3772
-Urban Surf: Seattle, WA: 206-545-9463
-Sea & Sky: Fort Walton, FL and Clear Lakes Shore, TX: 850-598-3735
-Xtreme Big Air: Pismo Beach, CA: 805-773-9200
-Island Riders: Long Beach, NY: 631-583-3019
-Mackite: Grand Haven, MI: 800-622-4655
-Kitty Hawk Kites: Cape Hatteras: NC: 252-441-4127

I'll put up another post that answers some of the technical questions people have had about the Lucifer. Feel free to post any other questions here and I'll be happy to answer them.
