Older Fuels Trim?

Postby MeafordBoarder » Wed Oct 29, 2008 10:11 pm

What knots are best to ride on for best pop with the Fuels 04-05?

I usually put it on the same ones for all attachments and have been finding sh*t lift really, tried it one knot higher for rear lines but not much of a difference...more? Or maybe my technique isnt right, works for other kites though...

PS, how were the 06 Fuels? A lot better than the 05s?

dont think its the kites fault..
what are your other kites?

one knot higher on the back lengthens the front, could be oversheeted then.. stalling
did you check all four lines the same length, with the depower pulled in about an inch or so?
then adjust the knots according to the day, just dont make the fronts too long so that the tips are flared out too much when the bar is pulled all the way in.

06 Fuels? A lot better than the 05s

06s loads more depower (13m a bit more than 07 and 08 even
), loved my 05 13m fuel, handful when overpowered and gusty though
