Eclipse News:
Eclipse Kites and Bill Hansen
Eclipse Kiteboarding is pleased to announce the addition of Bill Hansen to our kite design and product development team.
Bill has been designing kites and sails for windsurfing and yachting for many years. Prior to entering the windsports industry, Bill was an applied physicist at UC Berkeley, a private pilot, aircraft owner and champion yachtsman. Bill's windsurf sail designs have won countless championships at the top levels of international competition and he competed as a pro sailor in WSSRC speed sailing events. His widely distributed commercial kite designs include the Windwing Pro-Sport Elliptical which spawned numerous generations of fast, silent, high-performance 2-line framed stunt kites. Bill's foil designs include the Slingshot 'B' Series foils, Elliot Kite Sigma Sport traction foils and many other small and large 2 and 4-line sheet-able foils. Bill also designed inflatable kites for Wipika including the Amp+ and WIP and a wide variety of R&D and competition kites for Lou Wainman and Flash Austin as well as the Windwing Rage, Outrage and Rapture series. Often known as 'Williwing,' Bill has a passion for innovative performance-oriented design, is a US Patent holder and has published many successful kite designs on internet open source kite design forums for development of new concepts.
Eclipse is proud to have Bill aboard and pleased to announce the coming release of his first of many Eclipse designs, the Surge 'C" kite and Vector Delta.

Great news!! I was wondering what Bill was doing, apparently cooking up some new eclipse designs.
So are we going to see a mono strut?
