I've just upgraded my EH Ripper 10m 2006 chicken loop and I have a concern:
Before (see picture -before) the back lines where 4-6" shorter than the front lines with the kite fully powered. Now they are the same lenght (see picture -after).
Anybody know what's the best setup for that kite? Is there a standard in the industry?
I suspect that before, the setup was wrong. The back line attatchment was 'home made' and the kite was easy to stall.
Any comments are more than welcome, I don't want to spent the few hours I have for kiting in fine tunning my gear.
Thanks

My understanding is that, when fully powered, all 4 lines should be the same length. As far as I know, "4-lines equal" has been (and will continue to be) the standard for the EH kites (Beast, Rippehr, EZE, Ovando). This is how my EH bar came from the factory. I use it with my Beasts, Rippehrs, and EZE (no Ovando yet....)
