yes, the landboarding video is sick! love the style.

don't love guys who come into this topic and bash foil riders. That is not smart and absolutely not wanted. No one cares about an opinion like this. Keep it for yourself.

Agreed!

That wease is a real gem. Kind of reminds me of Baruka in Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory. :baby:

All I know is foil kites are so fun and addicting, no matter what wind conditions you like.

I've owned many LEI's, but none compare to the foils I've flown.

Also, as far as Flysurfer is concerned, I've never heard of ANY other company that puts as much R&D into their products before sending them to the market place.

So, Weezy....Go fly a kite!!! :dance2:

p.s. Leave Fred alone. He's really a top-notch dude who just loves to kite (no matter what you say).

Bottom line, Weez....You need Jesus, then you'd be filled with joy instead of strife :thumb:

Hi all,

thank you very much for all the feedback in this thread.
In the coming weeks a couple more videos will come out, also featuring the Speed3.
Including a in depth detail video of all details & improvements.

This morning a 2nd old-school kite landboarding video was in my mailbox,
definitly worth sharing in this thread, even if you are not into land ;-):

I've seen a Speed2 12 or 10 Deluxe live and in action for the first time on Rhodos in the waves wind onshore around 4-5bft. Two other guys where fiting hard to go upwind and not hit the beach(did well, though)
The speed went upwind like never seen before! I was truely amazed. The he did a downwinder at amazing speed to finish the session. I was impressed to say the least.
There was a lot(tons) of seegrass in the shorebrake, it would have been a real sh*t with all those lines if he had dropped....but he didn't and never got close.
We had 4-5 Days with hardly any wind in a row and the girl from the kitestation(who kites realy good) went out on a 15 while we just felt taken for a ride
IF I had the money spare(they are realy pricey...even if they are worth it, you still have to earn that kind of cash) I would!!! It would have given me that 8 xtra cruising days, instead of hanging at the beach drinking beer working on enlarging the belly :cool2: ...sucks!!
Specially when you're a havy guy like me...

Saying goodbye to the warm Smooth Lightwind Days Summer.
But it was a great one and going to the beach and getting to ride with only one kite in the world that will keep us upwind and with descent power... About 2-3 times as many Kiteboarding days.
Less wasted time, less driving, more peace of mind less frustration.

And still when it get cooler, the high pressure lighter winds (less wind chill) with sun are sweet...

A day on the Speed 3 19m DE, Customer cruising with a SA2 19m in the back:

The 19m will be out for the Snowkiting Lighter wind Powder days.

What color options are available? The only reference I can find on the poorly organized Flysurfer website is:

2 Possible designs:
Each kite is finished with in a stylish color design.

The "Kite Designer" section doesn't seem to recognize color choices for the Deluxe Edition. Can somebody tell me what those choices are?

Thanks,
James

For the deluxe version are there 2 color combinations:

- White, black, gold.
- Complete white.

The serial version of the speed IIII is:

- White, red, black.
