New Chicken Loop for best bar

anyone changed the chicken loop on 07&08 best waroo bars to something bigger?, the stock one is no good for unhooking and can't affortd to change any of my gear at the mo so stuck on waroo's.

Any recommendation, obviously the double depower rope needs to fit it well with the ring and all, I dont use the ring as I leash onto the depower rope anyway so it doesnt have to pull through.

What have others done,
