the helixes look very nice, but I don't think many has ridden it yet, hus low feedback...so maybe when you do, you can give some feedback on how it is? (I'm looking at that kite too)
I think for unhooked, I know some guys are using the torch in the waves. A very grunty kite, tons of low end, and super stable...

Where in the Middle East are you?

Maybe I can help rig up a demo for you of the GK Trix.

Cheers.

The torch is a tad to slow for unhookt imho. And when it catches after drifting, it pulls like truck.

I have only tested the Helix in a sample whit a wrong bridle, but its my choice for unhooked waveriding. Getting 5-7-9m2 based on the test.

I going for the Felix/Reo style.. love the speed. ;)

IMO demo a new 2010 Cabrinha Nomad. My experience with the kite it was sick in the waves on the Oregon coast and slashing the massive rollers in the Gorge in nuclear winds this summer. Can't wait to take it out here at home in the Turks & Caicos Islands - later this week we expect another tropical storm will ramp up the surf at NW. Point Lighthouse. Peace Out, Andrew
