most good brands use a Japanese material, from what I know the other materials available all will stretch out.

Teijin from Japan is the main supplier. Unfortunately, their monster price increases each year are partly responsible for Kite prices continuously rising even during a bad economy.

So what material is used by Cabrinha then? I hear it isn't, or wasn't Tenjin.

We use a proprietary material that is over 2X the tear strength of the other guys' material. Notice our kite prices did not increase, but actually decreased for 2010.

Hi mate,
Is that for the material of the 2010 kites or did you use the stronger stuff for the 2009 kites too?
The material of my 2009 SB IDS started to deteriorate after 8 months of the purchase...
My dealer said that's not covered under warranty.
I just hope my new kites will last longer!
Cheers
