I like your cutback picture #2 Thermal
But I dont see cutbacks as "Carving" pictures at all
Carving is the very opposite - leaning forward (and/or inside) with weight on the rail (frontside or toeside, both are carves).
Just LOVE that feel, and the awesome pictures (like your first one)
So great go see a thread celebrating the "Carve" itself

My Man Tommy T from San Diego, ripping the face off a wave in

Bille, awesome photo of Tommy !
You can follow the carving lines on the Tommy pic, so one can "Feel the curves" which is what carving is ALL about IMO
Got one here too, where I like the "Carving Trail" and curves
Almost too "cutback" like (which is not carving IMO), but I hope the connecting curves can justify having it in this thread
