Is that what a typical race course looks like? Can you get upwind to the bouy in one tack on the first leg?

Hello there,
not sure how a typical race course looks like.
But we are using existing structures in the water to make the race fast and easy to organize.
The Tower sit some 800 meters upwind then the start line.
So far with the right wind angle (90% of the wind we get..) there are 2 upwind legs and 2 downwind legs.
Yes can get to the first mark in one tack.
