Yes, bar is Uber simple and works great for 99%, try another bar on the kites.

Or look at safety section here.
You know, most people ride suicide because it is enough depower and you can relaunch. Then if the shit is hitting the fan fast in life and death you eject and bye bye kite, so what if it ends up in a tree. At least it's not you. Or, if you have time, using suicide or double depower on the swivel with the mini fifth clip into the oh shit handle loop and let go.
I am not making excuses all kites have comprimises and while i find the naish bar fussy, it is the best integration of the front line flag out but you will have a loopy kite and trouble relaunching.

Thanks for the responses, i guess i will start riding suicide for a while.
Out of curiosity, if i were to modify the lines to make them similar to the F-one bandit setup (single line half-way up attached to a swivel and 1 line to each front line connection), would this screw with the performance of the kite?
The front line angles would be different not separating at the bar.

i tried exactly that. i used a deep y with the f-one parts for the bybass safty line. the kite still flies
with the y, although i think it is not so fast/responsive. f-one style safty doesn't work... if you let the bar go the kite doesn't flag out (lay on his back). the kite still produces massive pull via the frontlines.
i rigged a fifth-line for testing. this works but i doesnt like it... so i'm back to suicide

Just get the new Ozone bar with your Waiman kites. Single frontline safety integrated with the swivel.
