Litewave vest has a built in harness hook pad and a system that integrates with your harness to keep it from riding up.

Good flotation, very widely adjustable.

Another vote for the Neil Pryde High Hook. Suits a waist harness nicely.
Best I have seen yet. There seems to be a gap in the market for a dedicated kiting vest that offers good buoyancy, impact protection, good looks and works well with a waist harness.

I've got an oneill gooru kite vest which works really well, use it for cable and kiting when we're hitting our slider, works well and doesn't ride up cause it's a nice tight fit :D I'm a big fan of the pull over type vests

The NPX Immortal Vest looks interesting. It is very similar to my Neil Pryde High Hook vest that I already use. I can see that the NPX has also a hold down for a camel back drinking tube just like the High Hook so presumably you can get a water bag that attaches to your back. What is missing is the cargo pocket in front. I use the front pocket on the High Hook alot for all kinds of things I want easy access to on the water. Really handy. If the NPX put such a front pocket on their Immortal vest then I would certainly consider it especially if it offered more impact protection than the High Hook.

My choice is the Pro Motion Kite vest!! Light, unobtrusive and perfect amount of flotation.

The NPX and Neil Pryde is almost identical in construction in every aspect, just missing the front pocket and the reflective strip.

Anyway, does it serve it's purpose to keep you afloat and absorb impact? I'm not much of a good swimmer that's why i'm looking for a flotation rather than an impact vest to be used with my waist harness.

I might get the Neil Pryde, as you said it has a front pocket which is very handy and also I need that reflective strip because I practice/train mostly at night in the beach when the wind and temperature is most preferable than a 42c on the afternoon. :)

Yup, the Neilpryde High Hook Vest and NPX Immortal are essentially the same vest. The main differences, as you mentioned, are the graphics and the pocket in the front of the Neilpryde.

Most of the schools we work with use these vests for their students, and we've had overwhelmingly positive feedback from them. They don't ride up because of the harness hook hole, they have plenty of flotation, and they're so adjustable that they come in two sizes at once (ex. XS-S, M-L, etc.).

I use one when I'm racing offshore and I hardly notice it's there.

Thanks Josh! I found one cheaper than the other online stores, I hope they answer my email asap.
