New Shinn Boards

Postby bavdrftr318 » Wed Jul 21, 2010 2:23 am

Just wondering if anyone has logged some time on the new shinn boards? I've been riding nobile for awhile and was wondering how they are similar/ different than what I'm used to riding. Hopefully some of you guys have been lucky enough to ride them!

Player 135.
I love:
top speed
amazing up wind
fantastic pop
overall balance

same performance of a 2008 132 nobile 666, but more agressive tail
ciao

How did the 08 666 compare to the 555?

Is there someone riding the King George? I am looking for an additional light wind board and think about getting the King George. Not sure about the size yet. My weight is approx. 75kg and will mainly use it with my lightwind kite (Flysurfer Speed 3, 15m2)...
I currently own the Nobile EXT from 2007 (139 x 46) and not sure if the Shinn will be an improvement / make a big difference to the EXT.

Go for the 46...

I hear it's called the magic carpet - very smooth and agile for such a big board. There is a test on the 46 wide version in kiteworld this month. comes out very well as a real world board...
