Hi!

Was so lucky and had the chance to test the 2011 kites, Screamer, Screamer LTD and the New Renegade 3 weeks ago when I was in Paros Greece.

Here is a little rewiev:

Screamer 2011:

The Shape of the kite looks the same as 2010, but once airborne you could feel some changes.
The first thing i noticed was the bar pressure, it´s for sure lighter than the 2010. The feeling and the control is just amazing! The pressure of the bar is just right and you can always feel where your kite is in the window.
The bar has also changed. Nice white color and new lines.
Another thing i noticed right away was the turning speed of the kite. The 2010 Turns really fast, but the 2011 is even faster. It actually felt like a 14m2 turns like many other 12m2 out there.
The kites seems to have the same power as in the 2010 models ( And this means very powerful!)
The Epic kites is already known for it´s good built quality, and for next year it seems that they have reinforced their kites even more! Some new reinforcement from the LE and down the struts, and some new reinforcement round the valves.
Graphics and color for the 2011 lineup is awesome! It´s has some of the same pattern as the 2010 graphics but they have added some more details that make the kites look really good!

Screamer LTD 2011:

Similar changes as on the Screamer, but this kite has some changes to the struts.
The struts have been made wider at the end towards the TE. This should give the kite more stability. The kites feels really stable in the air and turns a bit faster than the 2010. The power feels the same as 2010.
Graphics has the same theme as 2010 but with a little extra. This make the kite look even better than the 2010!

Renegade 2011:

I could easily buy 3 of this kites without even trying them! And even without a bar! This way i don´t have to use them and are therefor not able to destroy them!
These kites are definitely the BEST LOOKING KITES ON THE MARKET!!
You can just inflate them and look at them for days without getting bored!
The 11m2 has for 2011 had a big makeover. The kite is much faster than the 2010 and incredible stable! The 6 and 9m2 has been made a little faster but not so much as the 11m2. The renegades are also very powerful kites. Looping these kites is so much fun, it pulls all the way trough the loop, and i am sure that this will be a really good choice for people that want to do huge loops! The bar is the same as on the Screamers and has the same smooth feeling and lighter pressure than the 2010 Models! The new Renegades also have some more reinforcements than 2010.

I also talked to many of the other guys that tried the kites, and they seems to have the same opinion as me, really happy!

So if you are in the market for a new kite, try out the Epic kites before you decide!

Here are some pictures!

Epic kites 2011 rock!! One of the best greek riders tried the 2011 Screamer and loved it. He said he could nail down his tricks easier. Also our best rider here in Cyprus tried the 2010 Screamer 10m and fell inlove with it. He said its the most explosive kite he kitelooped on and very stable, fast and predictable when unhooked. I told him if he loved the 2010 lets see what he thinks about the 2011

I bought a 2010 Epic 10m LTD Screamer about 6months ago and because of weight and lite wind conditions I have not had a chance to ride the kite until yesterday. I weigh about 190 and was riding in gusty winds from 14 knots to 29 knots.

I have to say the kite has POWER!!!! I usually ride my 15m Cabrinha and can easily hold up to 22knots and never pull the de-power strap. Yesterday was the first time I have ever used the depower...I still can't believe this kite. And the jumps...holy moly..huge really great kite...I am a convert! The power just blew my mind...wow a 10m on steroids.

I have a bunch of kites from different brands and some are very nice but for some reason this kite (the10 ltd) just stands out above the rest.

just my $,02...

Here is the video of the RENEGADE 2011 kites. This video will be on the 2011 EPIC web site. We are finishing the 2011 EPIC web site and should have it up in less then 7 days.
I hope this video will help you give a better understanding of the kites.
The SCREAMERS and SCREAMER 10 LTD will follow shortly.

D,

Very nice video of the Renegade 2011 kites. If the 11m is really that quick and powerful, it's going to be a great kite. Especially the purple ones. If no-one else likes purple, I'll take them all. LOL. It's good there were few changes with the 6m and 9m. Not much needed at all. The 6m is for sure one of the favorites for a small kite. Looking forward to trying the Screamers and Renegades in Hatteras in OCT.
